Laurel Design Alliance, Inc. recently completed permit drawings for this 40,000 square feet office building, construction will begin in spring 2008. The building will be constructed on a 2.34 acre site surrounded by a residential community comprising of two and three storied housing complex and recently constructed Pin Oak Village Retirement Community. The three storied medical office building will accommodate 13,300 sq ft of area on each floor along with a 6,000 square feet basement floor accommodating ancillary support areas and storage. A two storied parking deck will provide parking spaces for 200 cars.
The curvilinear concave profile will provide an entrance to the building with a canopy, sheltered entrance and drop-off area for patients. Additionally, the curvilinear profile will provide a linear façade for the building from Cedar Oaks Blvd and Elder Oaks Blvd. The façade of the building will have brick veneer framed windows, and the upper floor will have aluminum framed linear ribbon windows. The standing seam roof will screen the mechanical equipment on the roof, and allow the profile of building to be compatible with surrounding residential developments.
