Founded in 1991 and located in Laurel, Maryland, Laurel Design Alliance, Inc. (LDA) is an architecture, planning, and interior design firm experienced in a broad range of projects. In the past, LDA has utilized innovative design toward the completion of healthcare, religious, housing, retirement, and educational facilities. Uday 'Dan' Purushe LDA's principal, has over 30 years of experience in the field of architecture and has worked on the design, addition, and expansion/renovation of various project types. His involvement in a project will ensure that quality is maintained and that the project will be efficiently coordinated within budget and in a timely fashion. A strong belief in the value of in-depth knowledge and quality assurance contributes to the firm's successful design solutions.

About the Principal

Uday 'Dan' Purushe, NCARB is the founding principal of Laurel Design Alliance, Inc. Prior to establishing his practice, he worked with nationally and regionally known firms as a project designer and director of design. Mr. Purushe is a strong believer in innovative design and has extensive experience in land planning, retirement housing, healthcare, and commercial projects. His involvement in all projects from inception to completion ensures consistent design quality on every project that LDA undertakes. Mr. Purushe has won various awards including awards from the American Institute of Architects and the Masonry Institution. Mr. Purushe holds a Masters degree in Architecture & Urban Design from the University of Illinois. He is a registered architect in several states and is also NCARB certified.
