Endoscopy Surgery Centre of Maryland – North has at present an established surgery center in Silver Spring, Maryland. In order to serve their client base effectively, they expanded their practice to the Rockville/Gaithersburg, Maryland area.

The 6,400 sq. ft. office space is located in a newly constructed building. Laurel Design Alliance, Inc. (LDA) established program requirements for the new facility in consultation with the physicians and nursing staff.

The facility accommodates reception, administration, waiting and consultation areas. Four procedure rooms are designed with all required ancillary support functions, i.e., locker room, dressing room, toilets, nurse’s station, dictation post-op holding, processing room for scopes, soil, clean and storage areas.

All procedure rooms and post-op holding areas are equipped with central suction and gas systems. The physician and staff support areas comprise of a staff lounge, coats, lockers and toilet areas. Design and permit time comprised of two months with a construction time of four months.
